Coaching Overview
Personal coaching is a form of learning where the coach will support the coachee to create a clear vision of how to improve there current situation for a future benefit. It literally means to transport you from one place to another.
I like to use the analogy of a sports coach. Tiger Woods is the worlds best Golf Sportsman yet he has a coach to support him, his coach can't necessarily be able to do any of his advice to help himself but the coach can apply specific principles of success to promote the learning process of the coachee
People use a life coach because they want to improve their situation and achieve their goals.
As a skilled coach the relationship will be one of observation, questioning and listening to give feedback
Coaching is flexible according to your objectives. Coaching places a responsibility on the individual to participate and use the feedback constructively
Coaching is not a therapy or counseling, it is a relationship of objectivity and commitment to the goals of the individual
